Take action!

After seven years the Cape Wind project is coming to the end of the regulatory review process and getting closer than ever to being built. Finally, the Minerals Management Service has released the much anticipated Final Environmental Impact Statement, which is a huge victory for renewable energy in this country. This achievement would have never been possible without organizations like Clean Power Now and the Civil Society Institute, who have provided unwavering support for Cape Wind throughout this battle. It also took the incredible dedication of citizens all over the country who have taken the time to contact their representatives, write letters to their local papers, and educate their friends and family to support renewable energy.

Status Update:

The FEIS is incredibly favorable. Now we expect our elected leaders to fulfill their promise to support this project once that regulatory process is completed. That time is now and we welcome Senator Kirk, Senator Kerry, and Congressman Markey to add their voices to the overwhelming majority of people in Massachusetts who support Cape Wind.
